They said it

E-Online caught up with the stars on the SAGS Red Carpet:

Why did Helena Bonham Carter choose to wear mismatched shoes at the Golden Globes earlier this year?
"It was half fun and I just thought it would look nice, and I couldn't decide. It was indecision. And at the same time I was thinking, They're gonna rip me to shreds anyway, so I may as well make it worse."

How has Mila Kunis' life changed since she appeared in Black Swan?

"I don't know because it's all happened so fast and so quickly that it's hard to process. But it's one of those things where you come off of a television show, you never really expect…this! I'm so grateful."

Jane Krakowski of 30 Rock fame says it is really relaxing to be pregnant and on the red carpet.
"You're Spanx free...You can just be! It's really nice!"

Why did Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban name their daughter Faith?
"We needed to have that through the whole pregnancy. That's what it required, was a lot of faith."

The Red Carpet Award goes to...

The SAGS red carpet oozed glam and poise last night. But ultimately there can be only one belle of the ball and that goes to Tina Fey, hands down!

The usual fashion safe 30 Rock starlet threw caution to the wind and shined in a stunning, red lace boob tube gown, elegant make-up, accessories and side swept hair do. This Oscar de la Renta dress is undoubtedly thee most stunning she has pulled off so far. Kudos, much kudos.

SAGS decor: what to expect

Wow, seems like they're pulling out all the stops to make everyone as comfortable as possible when the SAGS take place! SAG Foundation President JoBeth Williams has announced that FENDI CASA, the home design element for the international luxury brand FENDI, will be the decor experts for the Green Room and the backstage area.

They will make use of rich fabrics, printed leather and twisted silk rugs to create a comfortable and beautiful area. Classic, but neutral colours such as ivory, pearl and ice great along with touches of black, chocolate and deep purple have been chosen for a refined atmosphere. Since they 're taking such an effort with it, we do hope the stars make themselves right at home as it all sounds gorgeous, simply gorgeous.

Beside the red carpet

It must be like an eat-all-you can buffet in Los Angeles at the moment! Those who love award shows, must be going ballistic with all the red carpet action going on at the moment. Barely recovering from the Golden Globes, the SAGS are heating up! And if you're in L.A at the moment, you could be smooching with the stars - at the SAGS.

The SAG Foundation has held an online auction for people to get place on the Red Carpet Fan Bleacher Seats! From this vintage point, totaling 60 seats, fans can see the stars walking the red carpet, take pictures and request autographs. Proceeds from the auction will go to numerous charities. What a stellar experience that should be!

What a tribute!

His been in the acting business since the end of World War II and at a ripe ol' age of 94, he is still working! This year Ernest Borgnine will receive the Life Achievement Award at the Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAGS) on 30 January. What's more Tuner Classic Movies (TCM) will pay tribute to him a day before the awards ceremony.

The tribute will include screenings of Borgnine's outstanding films and an hour long chat with TCM host Robert Osborne about the actor's six decade career span. Yes, that's six decades people! We're sure there will be a lot to say, and perhaps an hour will be too short a time, no? Borgnine most recently starred in the hit action flick Red along with Bruce Willis, Helen Mirren, Morgan Freeman and John Malkovich.
